Pupils at Portland School are not only achieving in their academic work, but also in developing their understanding and appreciation for the world and community we live in.  During the Autumn term, pupils were learning about the sacrifices made by many people and animals over the years during War.  This has culminated in trips to the Arboretum, displays in school and pupils from the school laying at a wreath at the Service of Remembrance at the Cenotaph in Kingsway, Stoke-on-Trent and meeting the Lord Mayor on Sunday 12th November 2023.
