Each year the DfE allocates a Literacy and Numeracy catch-up premium to schools. This additional funding in to be used to support Year 7 pupils who did not meet the expected standard at the end of Key Stage 2. The additional funding allows for targeted interventions, additional adult support and physical resources needed to support pupils at Portland in reaching the expected standard.
