COVID Catch up Allocation
The DfE has allocated £1 billion of funding to support children and young people across the country to make up lost time after school closure. This is to ensure school have the support they need to help pupils make accelerated progress after lost teaching time. At Portland we are providing additional staff to cover targeted interventions in Reading, Writing and Maths.
